A book cover that I designed for my friend’s Grandfather. It was is autobiography. He retired as a watch repairman and when he retired they published a story about him in the local paper. I used the newspaper article as the basis for the cover design. A photo I took of a pocket watch was overlaid on the newspaper as was an image from the author’s youth — the young boy on the back with the farm cat.
